TRISHA DANIEL, L.Ac
Trisha Daniel, L.Ac, is the owner of Balanced Energy Acupuncture, PLLC, operating within Lake View Chiropractic. She is an NCCAOM certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She graduated from Pacific College of Health and Sciences in Chicago. She has an undergraduate degree in Biology from UIC. You can learn more at balancedenergyacu.com or call 920-635-2392.
Before she was an acupuncturist, Trisha worked as a laboratory technician at Gabriel Environmental Services and Stepan Company. She would not take back those years, but she always felt like something was missing…fast forward to years later when she discovered Chinese Medicine and its healing! Trisha has always been drawn to health. Although she has made many mistakes and tried many various health fads throughout the years, she finds there is an important method to maintaining health.
She believes the key to achieving health is balance in all areas of your life- sleep, diet, rest, exercise, and lifestyle habits. When we become imbalanced in any of these areas of our lives we can turn to traditional Chinese medicine to help balance our system. Along with acupuncture she uses dietary recommendations, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, and electrostimulation to treat all kinds of pain- especially sciatica, hip, and back pain, anxiety, stress, fertility, women’s health, digestive imbalances, and many other conditions.
She has always had a fascination with nature and how the human body works. One of the biggest things that draws her to Chinese Medicine is how nature is compared in the external world to how the human body functions internally. Chinese Medicine uses this as a basis for understanding physiology and pathology/disease within the human body. She also believes in the mind and body connection and that spirituality/faith have a major role in healing as well.
Trisha was born in Poland, but raised in Chicago! She has a portion of her family that lives in Chicago/suburbs and the rest of her family lives in Poland. She goes back to the beautiful country to visit every few years or so. In her personal life she likes to spend time with her husband, her cat Mr. Noodles, and her close family and friends. She loves to go on walks, swim, and ride her bike for some light exercise. She was raised with faith and spirituality as central to her life.
